Home About Us
Who We Are
Humble Bees Nursery prides itself in demonstrating that we are not simply a babysitting facility, we are an extension to the family unit, giving families the confidence that their children are our utmost priority.

Our setting will be considered as a home away from home.

The core aim of our provision is to provide children with the best possible start in life, enabling them to fulfil their potential in later years.

We will strive to broaden the skills of all the children in our care throughout the day, allowing them ample opportunity to interact and develop fundamental skills from an early age and reinforce those which have already been acquired.

To ensure that children receive challenging learning opportunities in order to build on children’s interests and capabilities, this is carefully planned around the new Early Years Foundation Stage.

As a mother of two and years of experience within fostering, nurturing children comes naturally. Jacksine’s therapeutic approach to teaching and child development is widely acclaimed within the setting with extreme benefits observed within our children.

I have worked in the childcare field since the early 1980s, starting off as a childminder, leading to roles within the Early Years and Foundation Stage (EYFS) setting circa 1992.

Following my success and enthusiasm within the EYFS settings, I then moved into a managerial post; I have been working as a nursery manager for the past 18 years.

In order to continue to develop within my role, I have successfully completed a BA in Early Childhood Studies; I have a Level 3 Safeguarding qualification and I am also a qualified first aider.

As well as working with children for many years, I am also a mother of 5 and a grandmother of 12.
